Novak Djokovic won the Wimbledon 2014 today after coming close to winning it in the 4th set and then almost losing it. Roger Federer played better than what everyone thought after stopping Novak Djokovic in the 4th set.

Astrologically, the picture seems to be very clear actually that Novak Djokovic had planets favouring him. Here  are the three of the most important observations:

1- Moon in the 9th house for Novak Djokovic close to his 10th house of fame.  Djokovic pointing to the heavens and thanking his coach who passed away are all indications of Moon in the 9th house (prayers and when you are closest to truth). Roger Federer had Moon in his 3rd house which is at the bottom of his chart. Moon favours Novak Djokovic.

2- Saturn on top of Novak Djokovic’s chart shows he is at the peak of his career and has almost nine years ahead of him for more successes; seven years for Saturn to conjunct his First house and 2 to 3 years before it starts moving down in the Second house.

In Roger Federer’s case, Saturn is at the very bottom of his chart (wanting to keep a low profile from now on ) in the third house (has to be careful of kneecap problems. Saturn is also conjunct his Moon in Scorpio till Nov 2014 (sign of depression and people tend to age under this transit).  In fact, Saturn is touching off his natal Moon conj Uranus in Scoprio, which normally indicates manic depressive phases. It represents emotional roller coster with sudden events in his family which need his attention and make him more reclusive. However, Saturn conj Moon also makes one very single minded.

Saturn will again briefly conjunct his Moon again next year from mid June to mid Sep 2015. People tend to retire under this transit and want to disappear from the public for a few years. It also points to his parent’s health possible depleting.

Saturn favours Novak Djokovic in terms of wanting to be out in the public and limelight.

3- Jupiter trines Moon for both of them. In Rogers Federer’s chart, it is moving away but still trining widely for July 2014. He has had a luck element in the last few months even as Saturn makes him feel depleted.  In Novak Djokovic’s case, Jupiter about to go into Leo is starting to trine his Moon in Aries (it is an out of sign trine at the moment but close enough). In other words. Jupiter favours Novak Djokovic for the next few months and brings in a lot of limelight and happiness inlucluding an addition in the family (his first  child coming in soon) and also Jupiter in the 7th house reflecting one of the luckiest times for marriage as well.

In Roger Federer’s case Saturn is down and making him feel depleted because of lack of iron as well as events in the family probably pulling him down.

However, it is possible that Roger Federer could win again (he is only 33 and still young enough) but it is not how well he plays but he wanting it as bad as Novak Djokovic whose Saturn is at the top of  his chart. We have no doublt about the ability to Roger Federer and he needs to be more optimistic about the future and Jupiter is still going going to touch off his chart for the next two years even as Saturn makes him want to keep a low profile.

Our congrats to Novak Djokovic  who is a very lighthearted person and deserves a lot of credit but it seems the planets really favoured him more than his talent warranted! Jupiter in his 7th house (marriage),  trining his Moon (having his first child) and moving into his 8th house soon (sponsors and one of the best times for financial gains).
