Medical Astrology or Medical Horoscope
Medical Astrology came to a step closer to being accepted as scientists found connections between Birth Month and Health-Diseases.
Columbia University scientists investigated the relationship between birth month and disease risk and found 55 diseases that correlated with the season of birth.
Overall, the study indicated people born in May had the lowest disease risk, and those born in October the highest. The study was published in June 2015 in the Journal of American Medical Informatics Association.
This was a very primitive form of study but extensive in at least the correlation linking the Sun and susceptibility to diseases.
From an astrological perspective, this is very primitive as they have not taken any consideration with respect to the years which might have slow-moving planets in one sign for a long time as well as aspects or other planets in signs.
All they took was the Sun position.
We would love to start a project using the same data and I am sure we can find ten times more meaningful relationship and use not just the Sun position (a month is basically the Sun position along the ecliptic) but also the other planets as well as the aspects.
They tried to trivialize astrological rules by trying to attribute it to seasons but then December stuck out as quite resistant to diseases.
Not much sunlight affected Oct Nov and Jan but not Dec?
We are happy that at least it is a step in the right direction but even if we don’t take the traditional interpretation into consideration, we should take all the planets and aspects into consideration also.
Slow moving planets also make a big difference e.g. Neptune in Virgo in the 30s and early 40s would probably coincide with more bladder and lung-related problems as the smoking of weeds etc really took off during this period.
Hippocrates Oath
Hippocrates of Kos (c. 460 BC–c. 380 BC) was an ancient Greek physician. He has been called “the father of medicine”, and is commonly regarded as one of the most outstanding figures in medicine of all time.
In medicine, doctors still refer to the Hippocratic oath, instituted by Hippocrates, who is also credited with laying the foundations of medicine as a science.
Scientists are trying to pass off this connection as being seasonal and more to do with the four major seasons rather than any astrological link. they quoted Hippocrates as having mentioned the season connection almost 2500 years ago.
What they conveniently forget to include was the fact that Hippocrates, the Greek physician who is regarded as the father of medicine, insisted his students study astrology, and his famous quote, “He who does not understand astrology is not a doctor but a fool!
Medical astrology is an ancient medical system that associates various parts of the body, diseases, and drugs as under the influence of the Sun, Moon, and planets, along with the twelve astrological signs.
I started a website for medical astrology to allow people to put in their birth data and also check off all the diseases they have.
However, we didn’t have enough resources to pursue it but we did correlate a lot of astrological aspects and found them linked to each other e.g. weak eyesight, depression, low blood pressure, low metabolic rate and being anemic (all relating to Moon Saturn aspects.
This study gives us a lot of hope and the electronic data collection will certainly help.
We do need a team but I have already developed the basis of a very comprehensive software program which can easily be modified to take advantage of the new technology and social media.
We will keep you informed but if any of you know how we can get hold of the birth data and if it is available for research we would appreciate it very much.
